A scenic drive up the San Joaquin Valley in California is full of orchards of dead almond tree, thanks to California’s “leaders” cutting off water.

I know one of those almond farmers. First, almonds suck up a lot of water. Second, orchards get torn out after they get old enough that their yields drop. Look for these orchards to be replanted.

Always dangerous to depend on other peoples water for your farm.

Irrigation societies fail when the water runs out.

I drove from LA to SF 4 years ago and was amazed to see all of the large signs on farmers properties begging for water. A local told me how the state regulates their water and that people hate the almond orchards because they use too much water. Water is also diverted from republican represented districts. Years ago someone said one of our fights would be over water and here we are today living out that prediction thanks to disgusting to the socialist.
