Waste of time-showboating.
The strongly worded letter is the most potent weapon wielded by Republican members of Congress. It seems almost weekly my GOP Congressman or Senator proudly conveys the essence of a strongly worded letter sent to a Democrat leader or senior bureaucrat. This is the only evidence I see of any effort to advance the conservative agenda. I am supposed to applaud the performance, reward him or her with my vote on Election Day, and forget the elegant prose accomplishes nothing.
Words are turds and most GOP politicians are experts at emitting both.
