“State officials also neglected to inform the judge hearing the lawsuit that they were conducting such an inspection, even though the judge had issued a protective order over the ballots in January.”

Those ballots have now all been removed and replaced. And the judge should throw all those officials in Jail. But they are above the law.

It really depends on the exact wording of the protective order in January, when ballots were reviewed, and what they did. It may be that the guilty parties decided that a civil fine for contempt of court is better than a criminal conviction for election fraud. Altering the evidence makes it harder to get a criminal conviction, even if (as it should) it creates presumption of wrong doing on the civil side of the court.

Expect some claim of Executive Privilege from PoS Rattenburger.
