Somethings never change. In the mid 1960’s a young NavSecGrp 2nd class Petty officer, with a top secret clearance was assigned to a NSG reserve unit in the DC area.

Both his CO and the Navy Chief, who became a mentor and a friend, warned him never trust anyone with the FBI or CIA.

Best advice this young man ever got besides get your family out of the DC area a few years later after MLK was killed.
