A man who collapsed on a street when he had a stroke in London's West End has tracked down the "guardian angel" who saved his life.
Mathew O'Toole, 47, had been sitting on a bench outside a coffee shop in Wigmore Street, Mayfair, on 10 June when he began vomiting and sweating.
He said a nurse with a "kind face" called Dani or Danielle spotted the signs of a stroke and stopped to help.
The family has since made contact with her after a BBC News story on Saturday.
Appearing on BBC Breakfast on Sunday, Mr O'Toole's wife, Georgina, 44, said: "One of [Danielle's] friends saw the BBC article and got in touch with me on LinkedIn, and said, you don't know me but I know Danielle and this is her email address.
"I sent her a quick email last night to check she was the right Danielle, and she said yes she was, and she had been worrying ever since about what happened to him and was really pleased to know he was OK.
"She said there was no need for any thanks, but it would be very nice to have a chat over the phone when we have some time. She came across as a very lovely person, over email as well as in person."
Mr O'Toole said: "It's just amazing.
"I just want to talk to [Danielle] about why, about how, about what I can do to support what she did, and how more people can not just walk on by, which is what she didn't do."

Pelosi dials 666
Yeah copied/pasted from BBC.
Can’t think of anything worse than a stroke..
A relative of mine had one and lost all movement down her left side.
My mother has 2, the second one that took her almost 2.5 years ago now was classified as a "watershed stroke" devastating indeed.
For her and us.
God is merciful.
Also if you are in a text conversation and the other person's texts suddenly become garbled, suspect a stroke. We passed it off as stress, due to last minute housecleaning before her mother and sister came for a visit the next day.
They found Stephi dead on the floor that morning.
She was my best friend, nine years on I still miss her dearly.
Alzheimer's. It's like watching a loved one being diminished small bit by small bit every day by mini strokes.
“Pelosi dials 666”
Good post.
Pelosi’s “angel,” has horns and a tail.
I’m sorry to hear that :(
I had a tia in ‘09. When I got to the hospital the doc couldn’t understand why I was still alive. my bp was 285/175. He told my daughter I was touch and go.
Laid down on the couch and 45 mins later got up and my left leg felt like it was asleep but had full feeling. I noticed my left arm didn’t feel right. Waited a day to go to ER. The doc called it a tia, I called it a devastating, life changing event.
I won’t regret not being able to say goodbye.
Every day is a little farewell. She is, as our gerontologist describes it ‘pleasantly senile’. Not violent, not confrontational, not angry, not sundowning, not stripping off her clothes and running down the street, just quietly and peacefully fading away.
It could be a LOT worse!
She’s never called anyone a lying dog-faced pony soldier, nor does she have The Button!
Does anyone think maybe the person does not want yo be found.? Did a great deed, saved a life, Went on with her life. Not everyone wants to be a celebrity.
