Not that I was aware of.
“Not that I was aware of.”
I wonder if the guy had access to HCQ and/or Ivermectin or if he was forced to forfeit his life so Trump wouldn’t get any credit?
Hippa (Health Information Portability And Accountability Act)regulations often prevent those not delivering direct patient care to be given any information. I wasn't assigned to the area where the gentleman was being treated but one of my co-workers later said he also had some underlying issue. He was very obese which can cause problems. That one night really drove home to me that this was something serious. Now it's as if Covid never existed. At least in the ER where I work.
“He was very obese which can cause problems.”
Being “very obese” is similar to being 70+.
I am the furthest thing from a medical professional and even I knew by April of 2020 that it was those 70 and over which needed protecting and the rest of us could have been allowed to treat the “deadly” virus like the flu and we could have been spared the (deliberate) misery inflicted upon us by the Left.
How about this:
You should wear a mask if it’s in your interest to do so, and society can compel you to do so if it’s in society’s interest to do so.
As I have often said the past 15 months, if Ebola were airborne we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
Obesity, aside from Covid is a major health issue.
Again, I wasn't privy to the man's medical condition so I don't know and I can't ask because of HIPPA regulations. However, now, as I said, it's almost as if Covid never existed. The hospital I work in is located in Ocean County, NJ. Ocean County NJ has a very large population of senior citizens and they've been the majority of what we were seeing as patients. I consider myself lucky because last year I was told by my supervisor that I had been exposed four times to Covid and at one point had to quarantine for a week last April.

I lived in Ocean County for 10 yrs (Waretown)near the Southern Ocean County Hospital.
I understand what you say about masks, but they are just one of the tools we use to help keep my wife healthy (going on 14 years now). We don’t use the useless cloth masks or surgical masks, we only use N95 masks or KN95 masks, properly fitted. Even then, we take other precautions - the masks are of some value, but won’t stop everything. Social distancing and washing our hands frequently work better than anything else.
Do you folks also have a vitamin regime that you do?
No kidding?! I lived in Fork’ed River for a while. I live in Bricktown now by way of Kearny, NJ where I grew up. Yeah, Southern Ocean. I work at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
