A Republican senator had no difficulty answering a question about whether a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being. Nancy Pelosi couldn’t figure out the answer, but Republican Senator Joni Ernst had no trouble.
When asked if a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) said, “yes,” and added that Democrats need to “follow the science” because “a baby is a baby.”
At the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, CNS News asked Senator Ernst, “So the Supreme Court is reviewing a law that Mississippi has that bans most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. So my question is, do you believe that an unborn baby at 15 weeks is a human being?”
Senator Ernst replied, “Well, of course I do, I do, yes. I think that it is really important, and we have seen as well, that babies at that gestational age feel pain. So this is an effort that we’ve had here in the United States Senate and I’m glad that states are taking that up.”
“I believe in life, and I think it’s important to protect life,” she said. ” So I’m glad they’re doing it and I know other states have the same concerns. But what we want our friends across the aisle to understand is that, if you truly want to follow the science, then let’s follow the science. A baby is a baby.”

Nancy probably wanted to call it something like
“A potentially viable organism” instead of “A Baby”.
Both are true, but why not directly say what you mean?

Good for you, Joni, on this issue. Now get your head straight on Liz Cheney and recognize her for the cancer she is in the Republican Party. The removal of Liz Cheney from her leadership position was an abortion I could support.

Hell, at 5 weeks there is already a recognizable human on a ultrasound.
Yet if someone injures or kills a pregnant mother leading to the baby’s death, why are they charged with murdering the baby?

Nancy Pelosi knows the answer as well. She manipulates people with ‘its her choice’ to mislead them. She wants people to believe she believes what she says, but she is just using the abortion issue because it has been a winner for the democratic party, despite the millions deprived of live by an addle minded political party. It seems that more that 150 years ago, the same political party had the notion that it was okay to take people’s lives to make them work for nothing so as to enrich themselves. It was called slavery and they fought vehemently to keep from giving it up. They knew that was wrong also, but kept offering arguments to keep it, even to fighting a civil war to try to hold on. I hope abortion is let go a little easier.
