Basically it was less than a slap on the hand. The most they gave up was just some money. And not much. They can still own guns. They can still do everything they could do before this. They are just out a few dollars. It’s hard to pass up a deal like that if you want to get on with your life at age 61 and not spend the rest of your life fighting this.

Most people would have taken the route the McCloskys took. That is exactly what the left has planned all along. When it comes down to dealing with the arrayed powers of the left in our new Soviet America, I would take the easy way out too. Once Manchin and the Uniparty agree on his price to end the filibuster, the new gun laws will come fast and furious. The left is about to put “from my cold dead hand” to the test. With your local “Boston Strong” police overwhelmingly enforcing the new confiscation/taxation laws, the left will oblige by turning your hands to cold dead ones if necessary.
