“We should only vote for people who are totally committed to downsizing the government and limiting its powers.”

NO. We should only vote for people who are totally committed to saving the nation. We don’t have the luxury anymore of picking and choosing candidates based on policy quirks.

************

They all say they are saving the nation but they all keep expanding the size and scope of government.

I don’t think you understand. Big government is strangling the country. This is exactly what the Founders feared and warned us against.

How can you save a nation if you cannot constrain the size of government and contain its ever expanding power? We have become a kleptocratic oligarchy. We are now a republic in name only. We are serfs subjugated to an overbearing government and a capricious bureaucracy.

The key point is that Big Government is at the heart of the problems we face. Its the platform the enemy uses to destroy us. It enables them to intimidate and dominate. It has to be stopped.

The bigger government gets, the smaller the people get. The more power government has, the less freedom we have. The more expansive government becomes the more opportunities there are for corruption. Are you starting to get the point?
