The government’s fiscal policies have placed the US in a dangerous position. I’m an amateur radio operator and enjoy building my own transmitters/receivers. Right now, a critical part from US vendors will not be available until March of 2022. Ford has parked trucks all over Lexington because they don’t have the electronic parts to complete them. Other industries are likewise crippled because US gov’t policies towards business have killed the incentive to build things here. Trump started to reverse it, but businesses correctly read that politics and the Left think businesses should be punished. Schools teach the same thing. Both fail to realize that it is business, not gov’t, that keeps this country going.
We used to be the world’s source for integrated circuits and other advanced electronics. Now, we farm it out to China because their fiscal policies let them produce more cheaply. We should lower taxes on businesses to make them competitive in world markets. Stupid people favor higher taxes on business because they don’t understand that they end up paying those higher taxes as businesses try to push taxes into their costs of production, forcing up prices.
Look at the cost of everything right now...all are going up. My fuel prices are up almost a full $1/gal. Biden’s policies are killing the consumer and US economic growth, and unemployment is up because of it. Lowering business taxes does, in fact, lower your effective tax rate.
Wake up, people, your politicians are taxing you into an early grave.
