In one Eli Wiesel book about the Holocaust a woman jammed into a cattle car with other Jews on the way to a concentration camp had no idea where they were going and there had never been news to them about crematoria there. But she started screaming in fear about the fires, the flames every few minutes and couldn’t stop. She was right but it was a premonitory glimpse.

One by one the six year old boy is grabbed from his bed and then murdered, the one on his bicycle is murdered, there are carjackings, outside diners are attacked and fast food workers are assaulted.
