The Texas State Guard is a joke.

Less than 500 strong state wide.

They can’t carry firearms.

Most “scheduled” training is in a hangar somewhere about how to stack MRE boxes when the National Guard is activated or how to sort paperwork.

Filled with a whole bunch of “wanna be’s” that couldn’t do land nav with GPS.

They do really well at looking “smart” at airshows with the JROTC.
