Leading GOP candidates for Senate seats across the country who once harshly criticized Donald Trump are now jockeying for his endorsement, a display of the former president’s near-total grip over the Republican primary electorate.
The candidates include leading contenders for open seats in Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina and a top-tier potential challenger to an incumbent Democrat in New Hampshire. All are likely to see GOP rivals weaponize their past comments to damage them in the eyes of Trump himself, allies who could influence him and Republican primary voters who overwhelmingly approve of the former president.
Democrats, who have the smallest possible Senate majority and are likely to lose ground in the midterm elections if historical trends continue, are hoping chaotic intra-GOP squabbles for Trump’s favor alienate swing voters, cause clashes with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) or lead to weaker candidates winning the Republican nomination.
“Across the Senate map, Trump is escalating GOP primaries and making the Republican infighting even worse,” said David Bergstein, the communications director for Senate Democrats’ campaign arm. “In each race GOP Senate candidates are fighting with each other over who can suck up to Trump the most ― and whomever emerges from these intraparty fights will enter the general election badly damaged and out of step with the voters who will decide the race in their state.”

The Democrats did not steal the 2020 election. It was RINO-controlled state legislatures who gave it to Biden on a platter by refusing to enforce voter ID. All because of their petty hatred for Trump. Thank the RINOs for the woke clown world we now live in.
The only chance Republicans have to take back the White House in 2024 is if every RINO who must face the voters in a primary in 2022 is replaced with MAGA patriots, especially at the state level.

I read the entire article and it is mostly a demonRAT hit piece, trying to make the rats feel good about their chances in 2022.
Another example they use is Budd vs McCrory in NC.
Trump said he wouldn't back a guy that had been beaten two times in a row, so he backed Budd.

The election was absolutely STOLEN and it had very little to do with Voter ID enforcement.
It was faked, false and fraudulent ballots in multiple states, including PA, GA, MI, WI, AZ, NV, NH and MN.
These are not the only states where there was fraud because the demonRATs cheat always, just to stay in practice.
You notice how democrats never care how crazy left wing their candidates are in the primary.
The Rats did not worry about the communist policies of Beto O’Dork when he campaigned in Texas, or the flaming homosexual Andrew Gillum in Florida.

McConnell’s backstabbing, behind the scenes maneuvering is more of a threat than the democrats when it comes to Senate seats. McConnell has shown he will not support anyone who he thinks he cannot control and his past actions have cost seats.

The sleazy Pileggi repubs sold the no excuse mail in ballot as not being against the constitution which it is. and the wording in Act 77 made it easy for the courts to stop the constitutionality challenge of Act 77. Act 77 has to go. No excuse mail in ballots have to go. Third party data feeds (Edison and NYT) has to go.
