A team of armed carjackers in Houston allegedly targeted the wrong person and one ended up getting shot in the neck after a shoutout with the intended victim. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said that they believe the same armed carjackers had previously shot a victim in another incident earlier Tuesday. That victim, who is in his 50s, said he was approached at a 7-Eleven gas station by two or three males attempting to take his truck. When he fought back, they shot him in the abdomen.
Police responded to another shooting scene only 30 minutes later and about five miles from that incident.
In the second incident, several males also reportedly approached their would-be victim and tried to take their vehicle at a Chevron gas station. That person grabbed a gun and shot at them, striking one in the neck, according to the 911 call. Police said the other males fled the scene. That suspect was hospitalized. Police believe they are a part of a team of teenage carjackers. They are seeking the public's help in identifying suspects who were driving a dark sedan, either a Chrysler or a Dodge.

Yeah, the author of the article relied on spelchuk.
True. The world is changing. Tech might have some tricks up its sleeve in the future though.
And gas up at Buccee’s..!!!!!!!!
Yup
Thugs were black
I think the cops ought to grill the reporters as to how exactly they know the atsckers were teenagers. Because they reported it as fact.
Males. Hmmm mighty specific description except it doesn’t describe their hair or eye color
“It’s Houston, ocrp1982”!!!
.380 is a 9mm. one has a longer case. .380 is 9mm Kurz. but i know what you mean. . i like .45.
I’ve met guys who had managed to get themselves shot with all sorts of different calibers, ranging from .22lr to 7.62 commie. And no, I didn’t shoot any of them myself.
You don’t want to be shot with any of ‘em, based on observation, and the thing is, they can all be deadly. But if you need someone to just stop doing whatever it is that he needs to be shot for, I wouldn’t want anything less than a .45 ACP, and I’d prefer a rifle or a shotgun.
But the gun you have when you need it is better than the one sitting in the safe at home.
Hmmm. I believe I just spotted them. Definitely teenagers, they were. In a dark sedan too. Had to be them.
From such a detailed description they would be hard to miss.
Note the reporter says “group of teens age 17 to 20.” I always thought the teens stopped at 19. Must be my Jesuit education!
1982 I had a friend in Houston selling marijuana
100 pound level wholesaler of adams county Mississippi homegrown sense
From Jackson Mississippi ....a kid maybe 22 I think he’s died since..he was younger than me
He was making his drops and stopped in east Houston ...a bad area to get gas before getting on interstate ten to head home
Some blacks had somehow been tipped off by a previous stop he’d made and tried to rob him of his cash by the pump....
One went to one side and one to the other...drew hand guns and told him to get the money..
He’d been in the marines and was a tough kid...
He told em he had to get it ...from the glove box of his Cameron z28
He reached in pulled out his 1911...shot the one to his passenger window in the forehead and the one behind him as he turned to flee
Killed both of them....he said the first one head looked like a dugout canoe above his eyes through his Afro
Cops came....sized him up pretty quick and took him downtown
After a few hours they let him go and gave him his gun back and told him not to come back to Houston that Houston had enough weed already...lol
:)
I think it says more about the reporter’s “education”.
Incidents happened in Gunspoint (Greenspoint). Ranken Road and I-45, I’m not surprised.
After a shoutout?...mmm-kay.
