Famed North Korean defector Yeonmi Park offered a chilling account of her time at Columbia University, saying that not even North Korea went to the level of brainwashing that she witnessed.
Speaking with Fox News, Park became increasingly dismayed with the cost of an education that amounted to little more than what she described as indoctrination.
“I expected that I was paying this fortune, all this time and energy, to learn how to think. But they are forcing you to think the way they want you to think,” she said. “I realized, wow, this is insane. I thought America was different but I saw so many similarities to what I saw in North Korea that I started worrying.”

Smart woman.
And that is a big part of the reason American is fighting to hold it’s traditional values.
The liberals took over education 50 years ago and have been brainwashing for at least 20 years solid.

A good part of the problem is that the Ivy League places for years have been filled with these upper middle to upper class kids who have very little or no real idea about what things are really about. Mommy and Daddy are always on hand with the cheque book or credit card for drinking and partying and buying into PC leftist trash and there is very little else they care about.
The looney left has achieved over-achiever status AGAIN
Good points.
We need to use Alinsky tactics on these universities—demand that their endowments get seized and paid as reparations to minorities!
Columbia was worse than getting a nork education 40 years ago when I was there.
Eventually, Park stopped arguing with her professors and “learned how to just shut up” so that she could graduate. She reserved her most pointed criticisms for the woke scolds who constantly lament about being oppressed.
“Because I have seen oppression, I know what it looks like,” she said. “These kids keep saying how they’re oppressed, how much injustice they’ve experienced. They don’t know how hard it is to be free.”
Amazing that smart educated graduates would give real money to the endowment fund.
Yep
Wow. Now she is one immigrant I can support.
All we need is ONE respected voice to pick this up and motivate the community to hammer the local schools.
Our troubles BEGIN in .... pre-school.

I read something a couple of days ago that said kids now can’t even find USA on a world map...

Btw to whomever added ‘search’ to the post:
I believe this is NOT a duplicate.
Similar, but not the same.
Even worse, the kids think freedom is oppression.
And they think oppression is freedom! It’s pretty much impossible to have any dissonance without any cognition, but here we are.
It used to be very, very difficult to get into college. Any college. It didn’t matter if you or your parents had the money to pay tuition, you had to have the juice, the brain power, to get in. That is all gone now (obviously). Anybody that can fog a mirror (apparently) is welcome. This is notable because we live in a “credentialed” society now. It is impossible to advance in some fields, unless one has the proper paperwork. They might be dumb as a post, but they do have a “degree”. They are “qualified”. Everyone knows this is bullshit, but. It must be interesting how employers square that circle.
They’ve been turned into activist training centers, this goes down into secondary schools and elementary. Future “change agents”.
