I’ve looked many times at the MODERN DAY risk/reward numbers and in most cases, the odds of getting the disease are FAR LESS than the odds of getting a serious side effect. Comparing statistics from 50 or 100 years ago is ridiculous. Most children today are not waiting for a country doctor for a day or two to come to the house, armed only with a stethoscope and tongue depressor to treat those deseases mentioned. Completely different risk/reward dynamics.
