How much money did Peter Daszak’s nonprofit get paid for laundering a federal grant for gain of function research in Wuhan?

Even though Dr. Anthony Fauci vehemently denies that any federal money was paid to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for gain of function research. Senator Rand Paul accuses him of lying and has hard evidence:

“There’s a famous scientist in the Wuhan lab, her name is Dr. Shi [Zhengli], and she published a paper a couple years ago which has been reviewed by MIT, and says that it’s a gain-of-function research,” Paul said. “But in the byline, she has to list the sponsors. She lists Dr. Fauci and the NIAID as a sponsor of her research, which everybody acknowledges [is] gain-of-function research, juicing up these superviruses. So, I don’t know how you get around this.”

The federal funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology first passed through the hands of a nonprofit organization headed by Peter Daszak, PhD, the Eco Health Alliance. This troubles me quite a bit, and I have a couple of basic questions about the arrangement.

First of all, why was an intermediary involved in channeling the money? When a third party is used to disguise the origins of funds, this is usually called “money laundering.” Some have alleged that Daszak’s organization was used to evade federal restrictions on funding gain of function research, which makes existing viruses even more dangerous, as appears to have happened with the COVID-19 virus, a modified version of a virus found in bats. In terms used by law enforcement when investigating illicit money flows, the third party is often called a “cutout.”

The second basic question derives from the first. How much money (if any) did Eco Health Alliance and its president, Peter Daszak, receive for their role as cutout (or if you prefer, “intermediary”)? If it received a substantial sum, why?

The cover-up of the probability that COVID-19 was deliberately created in the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) has had profound consequences for the entire world, preventing early detection and countermeasures, as well as derailing informed research.

One key element of that cover-up was the hiding of the fact that the Wuhan lab was working on bats, because the virus was a variant of an existing bat-borne virus. The cover story, that a wet market led to the dispersal of COVID-19, would have looked awfully weak had it been known that the WIV was creating new viruses from bats. Both the World Health Organization and Peter Daszak, who acted as an investigator for WHO, outright denied that the WIV had live bats in its research facility.

Australian journalist Sheri Markson has come into possession of stunning video from China uncovered by an underground research group that calls itself "Drastic" that shows live bats at the WIV and much, much more. The newly uncovered video was produced by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in May 2017 commemorating the opening of WIV.

The Daszak operation is the exact same script in Bioweapon research the Clinton Crime Family Foundation was being used by the government to hide money being sent to our enemies: off the books and out of sight. Wonder why they were not indicted? Simple, they had cover to do what the “government” wanted them to do and were paid a decent finders fee, like 10% for the big guy. Money laundering on a grand scale in the deep end of the pool in the deep state.

This reeks of the DC establishment. It's what they do. Once you let go of the idea that the DC system is supposed to serve the general welfare of the people and the security of the nation, and realize that it is all one great big machine to distribute as much pork as possible with the inside the Beltway insiders slicing their percentage off of everything passing through the sooner you will achieve enlightenment.

It's all a racket, anything within 100 miles of Washington DC. It's tentacles spread around the world. It slimes everything it touches.

Despite the author's amazement at what he regards as an astounding discovery, of course the funding passed through the hands of a nonprofit organization who took a cut of the money.

That's not a bug, and imperfection in a system otherwise designed to execute a mission furthering the public welfare. It's a feature. If you are a funding official, how else do you get a cut of the money you manage. Sure, you would like to transfer funds to your own personal bank account, but there is simply no mechanism that allows you to put your hands in your own till. You have to launder it through a legitimate sounding organization. It's democratic as well. You only get your cut when everyone else get's his cut. Well anyone who is anyone and on the game of getting a cut.

And what's this moral superiority. It wasn't taxpayer money. We long ago ran through that. This is federal reserve money created out of nothing, so who are you to complain. The federal reserve is trying to stimulate the economy and that is exactly what is happening. Folks who get their slice don't just bank it away. They spend it on stuff - and that creates jobs.

And it's what you wanted. The RINOs you voted for are good with it all and you should be too.
