March 17, 2020 was the beginning of it for me. We had a "shelter in place" order in Los Angeles County and some cities even implemented curfews. Businesses closed by the thousands every single day. By the end end of March the population was frozen in place. There were 2-hour long lines of shoppers at Costco and they were hoarding everything they could stuff into their gigantic carts. General panic all around. It was amazing and terrifying to see. Total loss of reason.
