Almost all of the data has suggested that the current Pfizer,Moderna and J&J vaccines are protective against all known variants. Not clear what vaccine was administered in Britain. Could have been the Astra/Zeneca vaccine. Fauci is a flawed messenger but this point should be noted. The Indian variant seems to be much more readily spread among vulnerable people. If you don’t have antibodies from a prior COVID infection or have not been vaccinated, take that information carefully under consideration.

The fact they are not 100% effective allows the ignorant to declare them worthless. Or worse.
Even though no vaccine has ever been 100%.
