Fall 2020 — The Democrats are stealing the election! — But, there’s nothing that can be done, because states have 100% control over how they handle these things.

Summer 2021 — Republicans in several states are trying to ascertain if the elections in those states were honest — HEY!! You can’t do that! The Attorney General will bring the full power of the federal government down upon you to make darn sure that your state does not pursue this matter!

I don’t think we’re going to vote our way out of this mess.

“President” Biden himself is presenting the best argument for restoring Trump to office, in his senile bumbling demonstrated at the G7 conference most recently; Harris also has shown herself to be President, leaving who? Nancy Pelosi?

Republics are founded by people with a common interest: freedom from tyranny. The founding principles are bedrock, but as time goes on, that solid foundation is washed over by detritus. People become complacent. From one generation to the next, lessons are lost. Battles won become footnotes in history books, oftentimes forgotten or skewed to fit an agenda. As the silt of decades piles up on top of that bedrock, people become more disconnected from the ideas that led to the founding of our nations.

We are at a point where people have learned they can vote themselves largesse. We begrudgingly pay taxes in myriad forms to remain free, because choosing not to pay those taxes means our liberty is stripped from us. One very effective means to control an out of control federal government is to starve it of funds, but the grand majority of Americans are not going to risk a SWAT raid at 3 AM for failure to pay taxes.

Sadly, we, as a society, have to feel exceptional pain before we try to wrench control of the rusty lever of power back to our side. We’ve grown comfortable with always-on Internet, entertainment across a variety of sources and subject matters, health care that ranks among the best in the world, and relative freedom to move about without duress.

COVID showed us what it’s like to be restricted in movement, and many of us thumbed our nose at it; but for many, the struggle was all too real. Many of those people chose to flee from their captors. The current migration of New Yorkers to Florida and Californians to Arizona and Texas are good examples. The problem is that while states have sovereignty, we’re only an election away from that sovereignty being ceded to a federal leviathan or a new batch of tyrants wrenching controls at the state levels.

Americans as a whole have not truly felt pain. It’s coming. There’s an inexorable march toward inflation, government overreach, and travel restrictions that is being effected at the federal level and will bleed into the states under the guise of a fiduciary quid pro quo. There aren’t enough gutsy governors in our country to pass on federal largesse in the name of liberty. As the pain grows, Americans may start to get uppity, but by then, it’ll likely be too late to do much of anything.

Right on! The question is: does anyone care enough to do something about it? That is the rub! (Steep hill to climb.)

The idea that the AG can stop these state audits should make everyone furious. The fact that the election was fraudulent should make all Patriots rebel. This must be exposed as the truth (eh, Joe?) and the perpetrators must be identified and punished. Period. This must not stand.

If one asks what the founders would do, they already showed us the example. Even if I lose everything including my life, time has come to lock and load. Nanzi Picklehead hasn’t seen an insurection, what she saw was freedom in action. The peoples house, we are about to take it back, i pray.

What was particularly bizarre was the AG spoke of voter intimidation. How can there be voter intimidation more than half a year after the fact?

Reading the first few lines before the mean topic was brought up (stolen elections) I was trying to predict what the article was about. Initially I came up with the elections, then I second guess myself and came up immigration. Then I realized there was more than one topic that could fit. How did we get here? Compromise. The liberals love compromise; the conservatives regret but always surcumb to it. the line may start at the crest of the hill but it always slides down the hillside into the scum at the bottom. Politics is the art of compromise! Perish the thought of a person holding to their standards and be a cog in the wheels of progress.

The votes were counted, certified, delivered, and accepted. Done. There is no reversal.
Elect leaders who will get it right.

a grand conspiracy to rob some place, like say … Fort Knox...

JFK was aware of this, he gave a well-remembered speech on secret societies, he stated he wanted to shred one arm of the conspiracy, the CIA, a thousand pieces into the wind. Then he was Shot. RIP, JFK.

I understand your comment, but I think it is one part of the paralysis on the right to do anything.

We always jump to the revolution or a CWIII, confident that since we have the guns we will win.

But those are nuclear options that scare any right thinking American.

The left has far more tools. After the steal why weren’t there mass protests? Why didn’t truckers shut down the interstates and Republican governors refuse to accept a Biden admin.
