Why is an English teacher (presumably, a teacher of English, not a British immigrant) propagandizing her class with the “History of the Negro Baseball Leagues”? Is that what passes for literature?
She could teach a class on African technological discoveries that benefited mankind. Or have recess.
Because English is racist.
My HS English teacher, taught spelling, gramar, sentence structure, diagraming sentences half the year. The other half reading, and book reports. Books came out of the School libary, they were our choices. My HS was well intergrated in the 60’s. No one cared about the color of your skin.
