True on the face of it. But the power structure is more like 80/20 in favor of LDS. Business ownership and political control is hughly in the LDS column.
I’ll grant you a case, however I believe Salt Lake Valley local elections favor the 60/40 numbers, beginning with the mayoral election. Lately a history of ditzy women. The present Mayor a Democrat graduated with a gender studies degree. Apologies in advance to any women taking offense.
