Hey, that is a bit unfair. My wife and I met and married in Austin, then moved out here 37 years ago. Not all Californians are whack jobs. Yeah, I’ll grant you most. OK, most all. One would think, tho, that those leaving would have enough brain cells to cut back a bit on the support for commie crappola. After all, they did manage to read a compass correctly when heading east. Perhaps red states need to em-place some sort of voter rules: “you came from Fl, you can vote in 6 months”, you came from Ca — wait 6 years”.
When Neal Cassady arrived at the Pacific Ocean shore with Jack Kerouac on their trip chronicled in On the Road, he said what Kerouac wrote in the scroll version as: "“Here I was at the end of America...no more land..."
So then the Californians must have figured out the opposite direction must be east. Clever.
