30 years ago, the older gays were lamenting that the gay lifestyle was dying out - not enough young gays for them to choose from, and young gays rejecting old men without deep pockets. WeHo was turning yuppie, mothers with babies more likely to be ‘strolling’. Bathhouses in SF closing for lack of business. And then came Hollywood...and ‘higher’ education
