My son had the chance to go to VT or RU. He choice RU and we are pleased. Main reason? $$$.. Same education for about 1/3 the cost...or less. I live in a neighboring county and every election the area is red except liberal Blacksburg. It’s a nice little town sure, but the libs abound in great numbers.
Sounds like your son has some good common sense, and a healthy respect for the value of money.
Any town after a certain size just ends up going liberal.
Grande Prairie, Alberta which is near here is an oil and gas town so it’s a bit different, but even then I’m amazed at how many idiots are running around. I’ve also had several run ins with the Somalis who are multiplying it seems. They go after our women, and I’m not tolerant of that when they’re trying to get away. They also drug their cab fares and drive out of town to rape them with their other moslem savages.
I’m glad you guys stay red, we do too in our equivalent colour (conservative up here is blue), but even our conservatives are a bunch of commie basterds.
