No we didn’t really understand at the time that H.W. was a new world order Satanist. But now we do.
Bush is hated here for a lot of legitimate reasons.
But I have to speak the truth: In my more than 10 years of research in the Reagan papers for my book “Reagan: The American President,” I did not find one single time that Bush ever did anything other than support RR 100% as vice president. He was, by my estimation, the best veep in history.
This includes countless formerly secret NSA meetings, including some where RR was not present. Bush reiterated and argued forcefully Reagan’s positions everywhere. I couldn’t find any variation of his comments from Reagan’s.
Now, people can argue motivation-—that he did it only to get Reagan’s support in 1988-—but I look at actions. Bush was a fantastic veep.
Somehow, I get People magazine, weekly. It is addressed to someone I don’t know but with my address. People is so left and so bad, i won’t read it, even though it is free, it goes directly in the trash and I get great satisfaction from doing so.
Interesting
He did not throw the election.
Did you forget the fact that it was a three way race?
Ross Perot got 17% of the popular vote, most of which came from Bush voters.
That Bill Clinton came out of nowhere and won with LESS THAN 49% of the vote.
Bush had a 90% approval rating after the Gulf war.
I am not a Bush fan now. However, IF Ross Perot had not run, Bush would have easily won reelection.
Perot also took votes away from Bob Dole four years later.
On the other hand, part of me thinks GHWB would have had anything “negative” erased...such are the times in which we live.
Stay out the Bushes.
She went first. She was on her deathbed
Never voted for him. Never liked him.
Just picked it up, somewhere along the line.
Along the line of finding interesting tidbits like those two screenshots.
Were there reports of Bush the Elder harassing women? Seems to me he either turned into a dirty old man or was one all along and it was covered up. It was brushed off as senility?
By all accounts, George HW Bush was a hell of a man - he fought bravely for his nation and was a great husband, father and friend. He was also a terrible president who betrayed his voters and laid the groundwork for 8 years of Bill Clinton.
He was a good man, but he didn’t care about conservatives just like his son GWB.
I once sat about 10 seats from him on a curved theater balcony and could see him plainly. President Reagan and Nancy were seated in the orchestra section just below, and it was thrilling to see them. But seeing HW? Like you, I felt no excitement at all, just chill indifference.
And Bush was much higher in the CIA food chain, than Putin was in the KGB.
I voted for one of them, but, as I learn more over time and with experience, I regret it.
I think I trust the other one more nowadays.
Is that so?

Bush took away votes from Bush.
Generally people want to support a President during a war. But after the war was over, the ugly reality set in.
Au contraire. Perot threw that election.
Perot was leading after the first 2 debates but he didn't want the job, and became correctly convinced throwing the election would give it to Clinton (Perot initially wanted to trust GHWB but after Sheehan, who was probably spook too, convinced him Poppy was the leader of spook ops in Central America and elsewhere, Perot took his complaint to Judge Webster at the FBLie, and of course the Judge buried it on the lawn) so the 3rd Debate was Perot's "Ninjas on my lawn" craziness amped up to 11.
And the little rat bastard was absolutely right, he had siphoned off Poppy's win margin.
Of course, Perot threw the election. He would have won but woke up one morning and was terrified by the thought he would actually win this thing and have to do the job. So he made up some crackpot story about the RNC trying to infiltrate his daughter’s wedding and yell during it which made less than no sense and made him look like he was crazy. I still voted for him, he got nearly 20 percent of the vote, would have topped 40 percent except for this incident but I have never regretted not voting for Elder Bush a second time. In my view, like some poet said about Oakland, there was no there there.
