GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE 6/7/2021:
A routine pizza delivery turned deadly in Brunswick.
The Glynn County Police Department said a pizza delivery driver shot and killed a man who tried to rob him on Saturday night.
Rick Evans, the interim chief of the Glynn County Police Department, said they first received a call about a shooting on Saturday night at 11:23 p.m.
Officers from GCPD, as well as the Brunswick Police Department, responded to a shooting in the area of 3132 Cypress Mill Road.
Evans said the pizza delivery driver told them a man, armed with a knife, tried to rob him outside of an uninhabited trailer.
He said he shot the man in self-defense. Police identified the man who was shot and killed as Jeremy Hicks.
“The call was actually to a different address, and the pizza driver could not find the appropriate address where the pizza was supposed to be delivered to. So therefore, he called the offender via phone, and the offender gave him directions to that trailer,” said Evans.
Evans said Hicks was 37-years-old.
The delivery driver told police he has never met Hicks before the incident Saturday night.
According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Hicks served 15 years for an armed robbery committed in January of 2003.

Moral of this story: Unless you are in a stupid state (California, Illinois, New York, etc), never ever take a knife to an armed robbery.
I believe this is Mr Hicks.
But I'll bet the pizza delivery guy is sued for his hat, shirt and poncho for killing an aspiring rapper who was just turning his life around and only wanted the pizza to share with the Sunday school class before he went off to the local community college where he was studying to be an HVAC repairman.
I can attest that the Brunswick area has changed. A few years ago we were camping on Jeckyl Island and decided to go to Brunswick and see a movie. After the movie i took a wrong turn and ended up in a sketchy part of town. People mingling in the streets etc, I was very happy that we were armed and even happier we didn’t have to use.
So, this tells us that it's a white man who is scared of what is going to happen next.
BTW, where is that white Hispanic George Zimmerman nowadays? He's probably awaiting facial transplant surgery.
Hicks wasn't armed with a knife. He simply wanted to share the pizza with the driver and, since the pizza wasn't presliced, he needed a knife.
At minimum he'll be fired from his job.
Name: Hicks, Jeremy Lane

He is suing Martin's parents, the lawyer Crump, and HarperCollins, who published Crump's compendium of lies.
Glyn County/Brunswick Ga is now and has been for some time an evil place, remember these:
Killing of Ahmaud Arbery
On February 23, 2020, Ahmaud Marquez Arbery, an unarmed 25-year-old black man, was pursued and fatally shot while jogging near Brunswick in Glynn County, Georgia. Arbery had been pursued by three white residents—Travis McMichael and his father Gregory, who were armed and driving a pickup truck, and William “Roddie” Bryan, who followed Arbery in a second vehicle. Arbery was confronted and fatally shot by Travis McMichael.Wikipedia
Yep. I had heard that. Thx.

Obamy sure has a lot of sons.
He didn’t learn soon enough.
Illinois has pretty decent concealed carry laws. Take the classes, pay the (much too expensive) fees, pass the background check, and you get your permit.
Even in Chicago.
