Senator Manchin is the greatest American alive today with a backbone made of Iron. He’ll remain the greatest forever.
I bet there are a least a handful of other Dem Senators calling both Manchin and Sinema at night thanking them all the while condemning them to the cameras each day.
Manchin is a weathervane who typically takes a strong stance in the beginning, and then folds when Democrats pressure him. He has done this repeatedly throughout his Senate career. Will he do it this time? It remains to be seen.
