The shooting took place north of the Chapman exit on the Newport Freeway. I’ve driven past there hundreds, if not thousands of times.
It’s not the first shooting on the 55. In fact, in S.CA, there have been shooting on every freeway and many freeways have had multiple shootings events. Looking close, bullet holes can be seen in many of S.CA freeway signs, in fact so many, Caltrans is now putting patches over them. ☺
Is that the Chapman that has two exits but for different directions?
I see people get confused all the time & merge over last minute or they jump on that bypass lane
