The Tulsa riots couldn't have been that big a thing. Joseph Stolen didn't compare January 6th to that level of riot. He compared it to the civil war itself. Others compared it to 9-11

A liberal editorialist, Gene Lyons, claimed that January 6 was the most violent attack on the Capitol since the war of 1812. I guess the bomb going off in the 80s was less violent as was the shooting attack by the Puerto Ricans—but of course those attacks were from the left and therefore ‘mostly peaceful’.
