The NIV is more explicit “men who have sex with men”. Looks to me like a concerted effort to twist the scripture. Romans Chapter 1 around verse 26 is pretty straightforward also. I have no malice whatsoever to homosexuals and I certainly don’t speak down to them or try to cause them trouble over the issue. But I stand firm in what I believe.
I’ve had a couple of friends of that persuasion. One died from Aids in the early 1980s. One seems to have turned from that lifestyle after a long-term relationship. From what I see, the Bible is clear.
Good thing I'm not gay, I lost two gay friends to AIDS before anyone even knew what AIDS was.
If my gate swung that way, I probably wouldn't be here today!
