An excellent article worth the time to read. The Judge did not get bogged down in “progressive” rhetoric about the evils of rifles. Instead, he cited facts and figures to demonstrate the unconstitutional infringement of the California “assault rifle” ban, particularly on the right of self-defense. These days it is not the norm to find a Judge who is willing to interpret the language of the Second Amendment as written and then apply it to statutes intended to circumscribe this longstanding right.
