I can't personally vouch for your 1.8% and 6gm/tube numbers. But the typical human dosage is 12-24 mg, not 12-24 gm. You're off by a factor of 1000 there. If the former numbers are correct that gives 108 mg/tube, ie. 9 doses/tube at the bottom end of the range. Pills for humans in US come in 3 mg and 6 mg sizes.

The dose per pound of the horse paste is the same as the dose per pound for humans. You are correct - for a 200 pound human (me) I get 6 treatments out of one tube.

Than You for pointing out the dosage error.

This is why they don’t want people self medicating. Their math is horrible.

All a person needs to do is step back and use common sense as a reasonableness test. Would a human dosage be greater than a horse dosage? I doubt it.

I agree the cat... dose is way too high. I don’t have time to search for the research paper I read a few weeks ago. However I think various studies were using ,2 or ,02 mg./kg or .4 to .04 mg/kg for humans. I don’t remember where the decimal. In earlier FR posts it was said that a dose for a 1200 lb horse could be divided inro 8 to 12 doses depending on the weight of a human.
