Thanks for thread A.B. and for reminder it is D-Day. Joe Manchin’s appearance on multiple shows makes me nervous. He is the canary in the coal mine re filibuster preservation. Everything rides on him and Semina. Plus we have reliable turncoats Rob Portman, Romney, Lisa, Collins, to worry about.
Sinema won’t budge, nor will Manchin, but surely they’ll try to get him to flip today.
We also hear there are other D senators who would not let the filibuster die, but hope they aren’t forced to commit. They’re happy to let Kyrsten and Joe take all the flak.
