Job? Use pot, can’t pass drug test, can’t get job.

My previous two data analyst/scientist positions didn't do drug testing. I don't think testing is a common practice for regular hires in the tech sector.

Guess it depends on the company. Most of my previous IT work, before starting my own company, was with DoD contractors and companies contracting with those contractors. I think I experienced near 100% drug testing.

I’m not in tech and I’ve never had to submit to a drug test either.

I worked all kinds of places that claimed to have drug testing, the Pentagon, arsenals, bank HQs, Hospitals, etc. — never got tested except for one kind of place .... drug companies.
