While too many American kids are learning to become social justice and environmental warriors while winning fairness awards, Chinese students are hard at work being as excellent a student as they can become learning STEM;
while the US churns out 60,000 engineers a year, China churns out 600,000;
while US militaries and government agencies focus on climate change and environment as their priorities, Chinese military focuses on killing people and breaking things
Does any one wonder why industries that need STEM people turn to the Chinese?

And China still makes things. We joke about crummy Chinese products, but the Chinese steel industry is ten times the size of ours. We need to close that gap. All those Americans with degrees in whatever studies will be useless in a real conflict.
