I like seeing those “extremely weak” characterizations that you are making.
Where I am working at the moment (industrial setting) I am told only about 10% of the blue collar ppl want the vaccine. That’s great news. If and when the variants roar back in the fall, it is the unvaxxed who will be left standing.

How many of the nearly 300 million who have received at least one shot also had had Covid prior to receiving their shot?
That is a key piece of information.

The variants are here now, and have been for all this year. Most of the cases now are variants. There is no problem among the vaccinated, when they encounter variants, or the original strain.
It was a theory that never panned out. It is past time to give it up.
Of course the rate is going to slow down, most people who want these vaccines have gotten them by now.
