I was taking flying lessons in Marshfield, MA as a 15 y.o. I was sensitive, not having a driver’s license, about my mother picking me up at the airport. Bailey, who had a business interest at the airport would give me a lift out to the highway in his beautiful sable brown Citroen/Maserati. Friendly to me and took an interest in my flight progress.

Way back, looking for a step up from a skyhawk, Bailey’s cardinal was for sale. Flew to where it was based (I forget, based on your post, probably GHG). It actually looked pretty ratty, and a death trap, LOL.

The Citroen Masserati SM, was IMHO one of the most beautiful cars made. I wanted to buy one back in the day, but they just did not catch on in the USA:
