Nearly every statement from the president, and other Democrat leaders as well, is now being touted as a "defense of democracy." "Democracy," in fact, has become the left's favorite word for defending its violent assault on our democracy. Whenever progressives use the word, rest assured that they're interested in their own power, not in your freedom.
Biden's Memorial Day speech is a good example. In what the Washington Post called "a rousing defense of democracy," Biden launched a familiar attack on those who are actually protecting our democracy. In fact, Biden's "Memorial" Day speech said nothing of substance about those who have fought and died for our democracy. It was as empty of true Memorial Day spirit as Kamala Harris's obscene "Enjoy the long weekend" tweet.
Calling democracy "the soul of America," Biden then referred to "the infrastructure of democracy," an odd phrase that he tied to opposition to election reform in Georgia, Texas, Florida, and other states. Biden seems to think the infrastructure of democracy — whatever that is — requires us to extend voting rights to illegals, felons, out-of-state voters, the dead, and even those who don't exist.
Now Biden has put Kamala Harris, of all people, in charge of "protecting" voting rights. Biden has called the Texas voting rights bill, which helps assure a fair count of the vote, "a concerted attack on our democracy." It seems Biden considers every attempt to protect against voter fraud, and everything else conservative believe in, an attack on democracy, and now he's put "no show" Harris in charge of another major job.

“Democracy” is being held up as a virtue in and of itself, when it is nothing of the kind. There are many ways to apply “democracy”, only some of which work for the greater good of all. Any democracy that works on a “fifty percent plus one” turns into a “tyranny of the majority”, unchecked and uncheckable, and likely to become ever more extreme in its raids on the treasury and resources of the state unwise enough to devote its allegiance to this governance exclusively.
To be workable, any system that claims to be a “democracy” must also have input from its minority viewpoints, factions, and critics, in order that a more nearly perfect union may be formed. (Do these words sound vaguely familiar? They should.) That is why the term “representative republic” was coined, that the minority may, from time to time, gain the opportunity to have its point of view heard, and form a new consensus that feels more comfortable for all involved. Many times, this necessarily means LIMITING the application of the regulatory powers of the governing majority at any one given time, and reliance upon the existing body of law to resolve conflict, rather than open warfare.
Of course, there are some who do not WANT union with their compatriots, but demand total control of the means of communication, commerce and culture, to the total suppression of any other preferences. People begin to chafe most uncomfortably under these circumstances, and it is only a matter of time before open rebellion breaks out, whether there is a chance of success or not.
Sometimes freedom means nothing left to lose.
It is THEIR “democracy” and THEY are accountable for what happens to it. They obviously understand it is a house of cards otherwise they would never waste so much time on pointless virtue signalling. When it collapases we will get our REPUBLIC back but those who committed, supported or enabled the fraud will be held to account.

BidenIdiot has either lost all concept of actual ‘democracy’ and/or had/has no clue what actual ‘democracy’ was. Their idea of ‘democracy’ is ‘democratic socialism’ and that is nothing more than a conceptual joke having no real meaning other than to a/the Leftist Marxists.
The Left is using the word in its exact meaning, which is why the Founders recognized "democracy" as an evil from the pits of Hell and is also why they wrote an anti-democratic constitution.
