It is just widely expanding the pool of people being paid to sit on their rears; there was already a bunch.
The labor shortage in low-skill jobs caused by the additional unemployment benefits and stimulus money is being used as an excuse to keep the borders open.
Small business that hire unskilled labor will have to PAY MORE. Sorry but they are competing with the govt for labor. Or they could learn to code.
In my area some simply shut down; the owners were old enough and had made their money. More vacant buildings, storefronts...

Well Republicans (except for Trump) didn’t care over the decades when entire industries were off shored and so why should I now care about the “plight” of small business and there thirst for cheap labor?
Nobody cares until they want their favorite pizza or something - then they wonder why the business closed.
The USA can survive with out pizza joints. It can’t survive without HEAVY industry....
