As soon as I saw the title, I immediately thought. Well, the big cosmic strikes in North American could certainly have upset the regular Nile flood cycle for a number of years, ergo warfare. For people who have not read The Book, I encourage you to do so, it was very interesting. It also gave information that made some of what I had read in Velikovsky more understandable, like massive bone beds in areas of Canada.
I thought Velikovsky’s books made quite a bit of sense, if one has done any reading and pondering about historical events in relation to the Bible. There is a book called “The Bible As History” (my copy is packed for an impending move so I can’t give the author) which has gone through several revisions, simply because of its age and new information that keeps coming to light.
At any rate, we don’t know all the history of the world, especially in relation to climatological events at the times of that history, so unless someone is way out in left field, I’m willing to at least listen to what they have to say! ;o]
I knew you’d want me to post the link, so I got ahead of things for a change. :^)
