I have heard a number of similar stories. The scariest was the friend of one of my employees—29 year old healthy female (half-marathoner!) who contracted COVID-19 and “recovered.” Six months after her “recovery,” she still couldn’t climb stairs without using an inhaler prescribed by the doctor. Her lungs were basically destroyed by the virus.

Actually, you do not know that it was covid that did that. Pneumonia does that, too, and it is usually pneumonia that kills people. No one has isolated covid to this day.
