St Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia are deep blue bits in an otherwise deep red state. They aren’t big enough to tip the balance.
MO law is different than proposed TX law. Anyone over 21 who can legally possess a handgun can conceal carry—even those from other states. Open carry, I believe can be restricted.

To believe that gun permits accomplish anything you have to believe a criminal will not carry a gun without a permit. How stupid to you have to be to believe that? Someone on FR the other day said that not only should permits be required but training should be a requirement for permits. Does anyone believe that criminals are going to go get training so they can get a permit? The whole world has gone insane.

We have “nice” neighborhoods very close to “no go” areas. They’re not safe, due to the proximity of the other areas. I think the people are nuts for living there. This happened in New Orleans after Katrina. It is what would happen in any SHTF scenario in these areas. I don’t like the source, but it gives a general accounting of events. Turn it around 180 degrees for the truth. The white neighborhood was actually attacked.
