We never heard about Walmart employees dropping dead last March through May before everyone was social distancing and mask wearing, while they fight over toilet paper. The work Place was never as dangerous as it was made out to be.

The work Place was never as dangerous as it was made out to be.

Businesses (in general) are neutral on this; they want to make money and they don't want lawsuits.

It may be rare that someone catches the Wuhan Flu and dies from it, but Americans are litigious to a fault. Nobody has to die from Covid; they only have to catch it and then turn around and sue their employer for allowing them to be exposed to it. (Think of secondhand smoke.)

Personal injury lawyers lost a lot of business last year because of the decline in outdoor activity. I think it's safe to say that there are personal injury lawyers who would be parachuting in from anywhere to help someone sue an employer.

There have been many reports of deaths of Walmart employees and lawsuits. Those stores receive heavy human traffic. But to be fair, Walmart has taken many good measures for employees and customers against the disease.
