It was not reversed engineered. It had a natural source probably those damn bats 800 miles away. The natural source was then enhanced in the lab to make it more potent. Oddly this can be legitimate research or biological warfare research. It is really the same.
This legitimate research was deemed to dangerous and was then outlawed in the United States. A lab leak could be hell.
It continued in all probability in Wuhuan with money from Dr. Fauci’s institute laundered through a third party. Why was it necessary for Fauci’s institute to use a a third party? Sounds like plausible deniability to me.
Oddly I knew this virus was engineered over a year ago. I read an article showing the entry point to the cell was the Ace receptor and oddly the human receptor was more vulnerable to entry than the original bat vector. This is impossible. A virus or bacteria attunes itself to its host. The natural host was the bat. If it is more attuned to another host than its original host it is engineered in a lab.
It is not really that hard to do. One takes the virus and infects human cell cultures in the lab. You then take the original cell culture and infect new human cell cultures.
Viruses always mutate and most mutations are not successful and that mutation dies. Some mutations are more successful and thus superior, they live.
Just keep doing this over and over many many cell cultures and one has a potent virus that is now attuned to humans and not the original damn bat. This method has an additional advantage. It leaves no markers of genetic intervention as it seems just a natural evolution of the virus or bacteria. Genetic intervention leaves markers.
I suspect that is what China did. It is the easiest method.
I also suspect that the escape from the lab was accidental. China knew they were going to take a huge economic hit as the virus spread in China.
China locked down transport and buses and airlines out of Wuhan to protect themselves. China at the same time allowed total movement from Wuhan to the rest of the world via air travel with no restrictions.
China knew they would take an economic hit due to their virus. Thus they decided to give the same economic hit to the world. THIS WAS THE FIRST INSTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL BIOLOGICAL WARFARE BY A NATION STATE. Most oddly it was not by missiles. It was by all the airlines of the world that flew in and out of Wuhan. It worked.
Cover up
If the Chinese wanted to kill off their enemies, they would create a virus and then create a vaccine for that virus. Then before doing that as a weapon, they would release a virus that is harmful enough to cause billions to get a vaccine for, but to make a vaccine that would make them vulnerable to another virus that has not been released yet. Then you vaccinate everyone in your country against the virus that hasn’t been released and when your country is vaccinated, release the vaccine for which only your people are immune.
