Four Cops Spark Outrage by Posing for Big Game Hunt Trophy Photo with Shirtless Bank Robbery Suspect and Their Dogs after Mississippi Manhunt

Police sparked outrage when they posed for a photo with suspect Eric Boykin in Prentiss, Mississippi, on Tuesday. Boykin was accused of robbing a bank at gunpoint and fleeing the scene. Multiple law enforcement agencies including the FBI and ATF joined the manhunt. He was found about 600 yards from the bank in a wooded area. Four officers were seen crowded around Boykin after placing him in handcuffs. The image immediately sparked backlash on social media as critics slammed the officers for turning the serious ordeal into a silly photo-op. It's unclear which agency the officers in the photo were from. A Prentiss Police Department source said they believed the officers had come in from Louisiana.

Yes the picture helps IMO. Many police/sheriff departments use FaceBook to connect with the public and encourage friendly and trusting relationships. Often these are accompanied by EXTREMELY funny posts/stories. We had one nearly identical, (which made me laugh so hard I about lost my senses) where a fugitive was captured, and held with a massive SMILE with the officers around him being stuffed into the back of the car. the story along with it was just brilliant. It was a FB favorite for thousands of us.

Possibly same here. It’s showing the police can have a little “fun” doing a job that may mean the end of your life at any moment. Also showing the perps aren’t always the type who are hardened criminals bent of death to cops.

**UPDATE*
On 3-8-20, at approximately 10:13 p.m., while most folks were in bed, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were out doing good work, and they came across Robert Hampton Bailey in the Parrott area of the county on Fellowship Lane. Needless to say, he was none too happy to see us. So in addition to playing hide and seek, he decided to challenge a few of our deputies to a foot race. Well, our deputies were wearing their go faster boots and they ate a good breakfast, so they caught up to Mr. Bailey in short order. After introductions were made all around, our deputies kindly offered him a ride to more suitable accommodations. Robert Bailey was wanted on 18 various charges, including felonies.

I am not “woke”. You know as well as I do that some cops who’ve gotten in trouble for shooting people have reacted badly. You’re old enough to remember when a cop would be big enough and burly enough to take care of some of those attackers who come at them with a knife or a tire iron, with brute strength and/or a night stick. Certainly there are times when using their guns is more than appropriate.
As far as the officers pictured, they’re just giving the liberals more fuel for their endless fires. Not too smart.
