I’ve always heard no noose is good noose.
When in junior high every loose piece of cord had noose in it. It had nothing to lynching anyone. It was just cool to tie a hangman’s knot.
If I used a light piece of rope to tie a hangman’s knot and then suspend it from my rear view mirror would ghat be a hate crime? Don’t think so.
We did it when I was like 10 or 12. You made a noose so you could be ready to hang bad guys, like in Westerns. Typically, perhaps invariably, white bad guys.
