I spent 24 years in army military medical units. 10 years active duty 15 years reserves. I simply did not see the things she described.. Now some weird stuff happened but race wasn’t involved. We had a General come to the ER thinking he was having a heart attack. A bright young Dr treated the General and ruled out a heart attack. For the care and consideration given the General award the young Dr an article 15 because his hair was to long!

At the start of Desert Shield I was the 1SG of the H7 ASI course for what is now a 92F at Ft Dix, D Co 36th Trans Bn.. Within a month we were graduating whole classes to Saudi Arabia.

Had this one POS tried to claim he was Muslim and wouldn’t fight his “brothers”. Told him ok, he could sit the war out in Ft Leavenworth. We’re about a week out from his class graduating and I get a call from the CQ, little POS has taken a handful of Tylenol and is in ICU. I went up to the hospital, was told he was ok but would be held for 2-3 days for observation. The next day me and the CO go do the “Command Visit” and take him his mail. We’re wrapping up the visit and the CO gets up to leave, I tell him “One more item, Sir” and instruct the shitbird to assume the position of Attention as best he can in bed. I pull out the Article 15 paperwork (Article 115 UCMJ Malingering) that I spent all morning getting done and read it to him. I have him and the CO sign it and tell him a JAG officer will make a bedside visit the next day, as a personal favor to me. I wanted to make sure he graduated with his class.

As we’re leaving the ward the Head Nurse, a black female Major who looks like she might have been at Valley Forge heads us off at the door. “1SG, can I see you a minute?” she asks. My CO whispers “Good Luck” and sprints for the door. Fearing the worst I stopped and said “Yes, Ma’am.” She said “1SG, I’ve been doing this job almost 30 years and I have NEVER seen any shit like I saw today.” I said “Yes, Ma’am, we had to do this so he could ship with his class. I wanted every one of them to see him get on that plane with them.” She looked at me and said “30 years…. never dreamed I’d see a man lay at attention in my hospital ward and get an Article 15.” Then she broke out a big grin and said “1SG, I just wanted to shake your hand. And if you don’t get that little whining piece of shit out of here soon somebody is gonna kill him, and I’d hate to waste 30 years on a little shit like him.”

Doc should’ve let everyone know the Gen was a sniveling anxiety-filled coward. Presented to the hospital thinking he was having a heart attack, turned out to be an anxiety attack. What kind of general has an anxiety attack?
