Yeah...they’re the only ones that ever resign

“Journalists say alleged affair with State employee”

Pretty boring as far as scandals go. If you’re going to self-immolate your career at least make it interesting.

I feel terrible for the wife but am glad he’s going. I hate cheaters.

Although the statement did not describe the personal matter, Hunter filed for divorce from his wife on Friday.

I suppose anyone, except a so called journalist, can read between those lines.

My opinion is that he has been an asset for the State and for conservatives. He is smart and knows the law. After Gov. Stitt made a hash of the gambling contract renewals with the Tribes, and especially after the McGirt Indian jurisdiction case from the US Supreme Court, Hunter has been terrifically useful.

As to having an affair? Republicans have rules.

Thanks for the info that’s what I thought.

If his wife can’t trust him why should I.

The Indians have been fleecing the state since the beginning of casinos and they should be paying their fair share instead of paying bribes to short the state on tax revenue.

“Hunter helped lead the state’s lawsuit against the makers of pharmaceuticals blamed for contributing to the opioid crisis, the first lawsuit of its kind in the nation, ultimately securing a $465 million order against consumer products giant Johnson & Johnson.”

You can bet that Big Pharma has been digging dirt on him.

He was appointed by Mary Fallin, a RINO. His stupid lawsuit against pharmaceutical companies was all about making a name for himself. The opiod crisis is due to fentanyl coming out of
Mexico and China. The government’s crackdown on doctors and pharmaceutical companies has hurt people who desperately need pain medication, but it makes politicians look like they are doing something. So, this guy isn’t worth the concern.

So Oxycontin, Vicadin, the pill mills, pain management clinics that are everywhere, and shady doctors didn’t contribute to the opiod crisis? Got it.

I’m sure all of that contributes, but government never fixes a problem. It only makes things worse. Now that the borders are wide open, drugs are flooding in along with the illegals. Illegal drugs are the main problem, crooked doctors and pill mills don’t obey the law anyway, and people with real pain are being denied the medication they need because doctors and hospitals are afraid of government regulators.
