The only person who has the idea that Richard Marx poisoned Rand Paul is the Journalist who wrote this article.
Actually, I don’t even he thinks Rand Paul is arguing or believing this.
I think he is being intentionally dishonest.
Rand Paul is clearly saying Richard Marx inspired the poisoner by cheering violence against him.

I read the article and did not see any allegation that Richard Marx tried to poison Rand Paul.
Marx was just a mouthy knucklehead who inspired another knucklehead.
